Furnas do Enxofre
Witness the activity of planet Earth. You can see (and smell!) the warm sulphured steam leaving the thin crust of the planet. Because of this phenomena you will see unique vegetation and colour schemes in the landscape.
Algar do Carvão
Explore the chimney of the island. Algar do Carvão is a cave unique in its sort because it’s the only formal volcano you can actually enter. Once the lava was pushed out and now you can see the natural art on the wall created by the richness of minerals.
