We will guide you through the ‘Ponta das contendas’, an important nesting habitat of protected seabirds. The site consisted of three islets of an ancient peninsula that formed due to sea erosion. This is the nesting spot of the common tern ( Sterna hirundo) , the roseate tern ( Sterna Dougalli ), as well as cory’s shearwater ( Calonectris diomedea borealis ).
Motor boats are limited here so the kayak is the most distinctive way to arrive to this fantastic bay with clear waters.
